Boot with Dynamic graphics from BIOS

Hi all!

I have a Lenovo Legion laptop, with integrated Intel i7 + Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU’s. After some change in the system that I cannot trace back, my system starts and work correctly only if I select “discrete graphics” in the BIOS (i.e. using only the dedicated GPU).

However, there are a couple of programs that I need to use through Wine that never worked well with the Nvidia GPU and therefore I ocassionally select the “dynamic graphics” in the BIOS. But now (after the updates/changes I mentioned above), the system got stuck at start before between GRUB and GDM. The screen turns black and the only thing I can do is ctrl-alt-del and restart. I cannot even login.

I guess it should be something with the drivers for dynamic graphics, and I tried to solve it starting in “discrete graphics” mode, but that doesn’t work because when turning down the integrated GPU from the BIOS, that doesn’t even appear in mhwd command.

Thanks for any tip you could give me

Marcos.
